Dear Readers,

This is a story, a real love story of an ordinary boy with extraordinary aspirations, born and brought up in spoiling environment of plenty;

Who, at the age of 18, started reading one chapter of Bhagwad Geeta regularly, as mark of his respect & homage to the departed soul of his noble grand father.

A young student enjoying his life, in an engineering college hostel in Mumbai, having  little awareness of ‘suffering’ of the toiling masses, was gifted with a book of  Swami Vivekananda by a friend.

He  accepted Swami Vivekananda as his Guide & Guru.

He intended to read it beyond the courtesy of glancing over its main introductory page!

And a ‘hair-raising quotation’ set fire to his feeling of empathy & kindness hidden in his compassionate heart & courageous mind!

A current flowed from his inner-self, raising the hair on  his body!

The ‘seed’ of absolute ‘selflessness’  ‘sprouted’ instantly by that inspiring  &  enlightening  quote:

 “My dear ones, I love you more than myself.

But I want that, if need be, you must always be ready

& even eager to die for others !!”

In one moment, the entire spiritual energy of Swamy Vivekananda passed through his inner-being!

The power behind the words was irresistible!

An absolutely selfless prayer emanated instantly & spontaneously from the innermost depth of his innocent & compassionate heart:

“Bless me, my Lord, to be ready to die for others and what is more difficult but more important,

‘to live for others’ !!”

They say,“ Every selfless prayer, emanating from a pure  innocent heart, instantly gets registered in divine plan!”

That one sincere & selfless prayer, led him to come

  face to face with  the Supreme God Himself !

Dear Readers,

This is an exceptional & devotional account of a daring child of God, who sub-consciously  started seeking and searching for lord Krishna in human form, at the  age of 20, to make Him redeem HIS pledge of  "Yada yada he dharmasaya, Glanir bhavati Bharat" of Bhagwad  Geeta.

The compassionate Master attracted him to His presence mysteriously & miraculously purely out of mercy!

And so, at the age of 21, he was directed by Lord Krishna in his first Divine Dream to go to Puttaparthi.

And during his first  encounter with Lord Satya Sai, he had a vision of his Krishna and fell in love with His enchanting and captivating,  Divine form.

It was a home-coming of the symbolic ‘lost sheep’ , The lost  ‘prince’  of  the  King Of  Kings !!

This is a real life story of a ‘Lost Prince’ having direct ‘Face to Face’ encounter with The Supreme ‘King Of Kings’  of entire creation

It was ‘Love at first sight’ on both sides!

The divine relationship of  ‘heart to heart’  &  ‘one to one’  was established, almost   from   day one !!

Dear readers, This is the real love story of a true seeker of Love , who started his spiritual  journey with God as his  guide &  his goal , with an ultimate prayer spontaneously emanating from the innermost depth of his innocent heart and gracefully accepted by His lord:

“Make Me Thy Child, My Lord!

True & pure,  

without any guilt, without any fear,

always eager to share & care,

      as Your own, ,

to Love You in all, serve You in all,

only to please You, Always & everywhere ”.

And the merciful Lord responded, “Yes Yes Yes!”

I will break the ‘false you’ and un-make you and

Re-make you into my own image,

Satyam Shivam Sundaram of S.S.S.!!

The prayer was accepted by the most gracious God & the ‘Process of Self-Purification’ started right from that day .

The task was to ‘transform him from within, with never failing power of ‘Love of God’!

The Master Maker, Un-Maker & re-maker, started His favorite work of making a jewel out of His ‘Raw Gold’ !!

The entire process of Self purification has been going on continuously under direct divine counseling & care,

For the past 36 years !

And the merciful God Himself  has blessed him, with such elevating & enlightening spiritual experiences that even gods in heavens would admire and envy !!

Dear Readers,

This is the real love story of a "Beloved child of God"

who was transformed from ‘street Dog to street Lamp’ !

And whose ‘Dog mind’ has been elevated & connected to

‘God mind’ only through power of Love; unconditional and infinite   Divine Love; ONLY LOVE!!

This  is the most  inspiring & most encouraging real love story of a true lover of Lord, experiencing & experimenting Divine love by choosing to live with God, Live for God & ultimately live in God  to merge with God!

This is a very interesting & engaging episode, unveiling itself step-by- step from love & craving for the world to love & craving for Lord, to love & serve Him in all by seeing Him in all !  That’s All !!

And, the most humbling & most wonderful part of this ‘Divine Play’ is that the ‘subject’ simply can not claim  even 0.01% contribution or co-operation of any kind

from his side.

even the make-up & the costumes, the entry & the exit,

the situations & the sequences, the artists & the co-artists

Dear Readers, This is the story of an ordinary  devotee, who voluntarily and willingly,  submits   himself   to    “The  Fire  of  3  Zeroes”;

‘The Ultimate Test’  for the ‘process of self purification’ ,

under direct divine ‘care & supervision’ of the  Lord Himself, for 10 long years (1994-2003)!

And when the Lord was apparently satisfied with His Final Product, He blessed his beloved devotee with rarest of rare grace by transmuting His spark of Krishna Tatwa emerging from His Divine Body and merging into the heart of His chosen child!

And to whom Krishna has been appearing in ‘real form’ everyday since  then & imparting HIS “Geeta Gyan” in simple common man’s language, guiding him & directing him step by step, at every stage, with down to earth practical means & methods, to bring about ‘Governance Of God’ in Bharat; successfully, smoothly & peacefully !

“YOU THROW AT ME A PEACH, I GIVE YOU A PLUM"

An ancient way of life that advocates doing  good to people who hurt you….!   “He throws at me a peach, I give him a plum.”

The peach has a big hard stone that can hurt easily. A plum has a soft tiny stone.

 Meaning, he throws a large hard object at me to hurt me, I give him something sweet and pleasing in return- thus the desire for tit for tat violence is evaporated even before it has a chance to form.


How can one possibly be mean and nasty to anyone who gives you a deliciously sweet juicy plum?

Giving a plum- that is making your opponents life better/sweeter, takes away the poison and anger from your own heart.

From being the trodden-upon-victim, one can rise to be the giver of good things & restorer of broken relationships. From being powerless to being powerful.


Can this idea of giving a plum, work in today’s climate of prejudice,  suspicion, hate and violence?

When injured by someone’s arrogance, ignorance and thoughtlessness, can we set aside our hurt and do something to make his life better/sweeter ?

Our initial reaction is to throw something harder than the one thrown at us or to stay away from them !

The word “sweet”  conveys  more than just superficial good deed which can be shrugged off later.
To make someone’s life better/sweeter, we have to ‘raise them’ from the pit of ugliness where they dwell now

That is the abyss of violence and ugliness that caused them to hurt you in some way.

Pulling them out of this deep horrible place and
giving them something ‘beautiful and useful’ can be a huge challenge !


Devi was a house maid who worked for tyrannical woman who ran a travel agency.

Although she worked to the best of her ability, her mistress was bitingly harsh with her words & scolded Devi with hurtful words.

At the end of the particular bad day she offered to massage her mistress feet. On another day it was to massage her head and run her a hot bath.

Devi found that she could do many little things to bring her out of the pit of ugliness, into a better place.

Over a period of time she noticed that the relation between them changed. She was no longer a maid to be scolded and hurt she was becoming a friend.

Devi got a beautiful silk saree  from her mistress as ‘gift’ on her birthday.

The peach and plum attitude had transformed her relationship from being that of ‘resentment & hatred’ to that of ‘sweet friendship’.

And the beauty of it was that Devi was not even conscious of her ‘magical attitude’ . For her, it was just her ‘simple & sweet’ nature to act & react with her ‘sweet  plum’  attitude !

A young teacher who had been particularly snappy and mean to one child was surprised to get a painted picture of hers from this child.

“ Have a nice day madam, I love you” the child said.

In an instant,  her mood which had been miserable for a few weeks, changed. She  realized  she  had been lashing out at her students
But, this child’s sweetness sweetened her entire being in an instant

It was a ‘perfect magical touch’ that transformed her attitude to all her students !

Devi is just a village woman who in her everyday life has worked out for her own self satisfaction; the need for making a difference in a hostile world when thrown a hard peach by someone, she returns a plum to that person; out of pure & selfless love & compassion !

This little child too had learnt how to deal with someone’s meanness.

We only need to bring a ray of light to defeat age old darkness.

So, if an illiterate woman, and a child, can make this concept work, then it should give us the inspiration and hope that we too in our families and work places can do the same thing.

In the course of a day, many hard peaches are thrown at us from every direction. We would like to throw some too. But before you do so, I suggest you buy a basket of nice sweet plums and keep them beside you, just in case, You too want to ‘experience & experiment’ the miracle of “You throw at me a peach, I give you a plum”

We forget that it is the cause that produces the effect; the effect cannot come by itself; and unless the causes are exact, proper and powerful, the effect will not be produced. None of us can afford to be so ignorant or arrogant so as to claim absolute perfection in our human conduct & character. We all need to brush-up & freshen-up our own value system in every sphere of our lives, regularly & religiously to avoid creating any ‘guilt or inferiority complex’ in our minds.

The great king Ashoka, one of the world’s earliest known ‘enlightened rulers’ followed the brilliant treatise on political economy & statecrafts of Kautilya, the inspired writer of the brilliant ‘Arthashastra’ & advisor to King Chandragupta. He integrated ‘universal fundamental values’ in all spheres of governance & administration to achieve ‘peace & prosperity, progress & happiness’ of his subjects and to make everyone behave spontaneously in a responsible & considerate manner, without the external compulsion of ‘forced’ good behavior.
Since time immemorial, the purpose of all human endeavor has been persuasion of happiness and joy but the tragedy of all our effort is that more we pursue it, the more it deludes us! So, there has to be some ‘key’, some kind of ‘catch’ into all this which we all have not been able to find, so far!
“The more you give, the more you get”; is an irrevocable law of nature that we so often forget! We can choose to live, to give and forgive ‘gracefully’ and receive His grace abundantly & gratefully; OR, we can choose to live miserly & ungratefully & and leave this world and its wealth disgracefully & miserably.
But, the real ‘catch’ is that you can not give what you do not have !! Hence, we first need to ‘be happy’ to make others happy to make our God happy with us.
“It is strange but true that when we give our food to a needy person & go hungry, we actually feel stronger, healthier & happier!”
We all can experience the happiness & the strength of joyful giving, selfless serving & fearless forgiving.
The truth is that we are not human beings having spiritual experiences but we are spiritual beings having human experiences. The truth is that we are not ‘the body’ having some soul inside us but we are ‘the soul’ having this body- mind- ego complex as our instruments to live this life as directed and decided by our own highest self, our own best and the noblest Self ; our own real I-SELF - THE GOD-SELF !!
What belongs to us, can not ‘be us’. We say, “my body, my mind, my intelligence?” Then, who am I ?! The answer is, ‘I AM I !!
Today, in a ‘flat’ world where everyone has access to anything and everything, once again ‘VALUES’ matter more than ever; the very same ‘universal fundamental values’ that King Ashoka integrated in all spheres of public life.
You & I may have all the ‘resources & qualifications’ in exactly equal proportion in terms of finance, knowledge, man power, latest technologies with expertise to ‘perform’; yet our long term success & survival shall largely be decided by ‘differences’ in our personal ‘ qualities’ of courage & compassion, character and credibility, our confidence and commonsense, our loyalty & integrity, our truthfulness & righteousness, our humility & honesty, our dedication and discipline, our self contentment , our eagerness to share & care & our enthusiasm to serve & to sacrifice, in short, the integration & internalization of ‘universal & fundamental human qualities & values’ in our day to day conduct.
Gandhiji had said, “Be the change that you want to bring about in the world & let your life become the message of your God, by practicing and promoting universal human values, courageously and spontaneously, by your conduct.
Recently, I was delighted to read a news article in TOI dated 2 October2010 , that three boys having 60% plus marks were selected for a decent job over & against other candidates having more than 70% marks with them. And when asked the reason for this strange way of recruitment, the HR officer of the company said that the three boys were carrying an additional certificate stating that they had successfully undergone a ‘crash course’ programme for 3 months on serious studies of ‘Life & teachings of Mahatma Gandhi’ & made the company decide in their favor because the management believed that these boys could be more honest & loyal to their company !! STRANGE BUT TRUE !!

We need to bring all good persons together on one common platform & move forward in action, because one flower alone cannot make a garland , even a person of Dr: Manmohan Singhji’s character & caliber cannot deliver his commitments to the nation if he is not pro-actively supported by like- minded persons as his equal partners or as co-sharers of his commitments & mission.

My dear brothers & sisters, last but not the least. Money is not the issue at all as it is already being taken care of sufficiently, even abundantly. “THE ROLE OF MOTHERS IN INCULCATING BASIC HUMAN VALUES”
We all need to understand & accept with a sense of a great responsibility that giving birth to any other species is different from giving birth to a human being.
It is considered not only a ‘sacred’ act but also a great honor & privilege to become a mother to a human person because our Vedas have declared, “Jantunaam nara janmam durlabham.” Also Swami Vivekananda has said, “Man is the highest creation of God!”
Hence, to be blessed to become a mother of a human soul is the greatest & most sacred privilege for any woman.
Here is an irrevocable law of nature & God; “Every would- be mother has all the powers, all the options to decide & shape the destinies of her yet- to- be born children & which in turn shall decide the destiny of all the nations of the world.”
That is why in our culture ‘every mother’ is worshiped as GOD! And that is why even God longs for love & affection of the mother!
Therefore, every would- be mother should realize her unique responsibility towards her family, her God, her society & above all her own child whose destiny shall be decided by her every thought , word & action & even her feelings, attitude, her indulgence, her habits of food , recreation & personal, physical, emotional & mental health care.
In short, her ‘aahaar, vihaar, aachaar & her vichaar i.e. her food habits, her recreation habits, her behavior and conduct and her thoughts and feelings shall have direct impact on the inborn attitudes & intelligence , habits, character & even the destiny of the child to be born.
And, all these facts have been confirmed by modern psychology & medicine.
The ‘environmental factor’ in the upbringing of every child comes into play right from day one of his or her conception. Every would be mother should take utmost care to invoke and promote only positive attitude, sacred feelings and thoughts in her selfless and fearless heart with blissful, Godful and joyful mind .

“God helps those who help themselves”. I was told its meaning as being very simple & straight; that unless we wake up & get up to realize our dreams, even God would not come forward to help us in any situation, in any manner.
Many years later, delivering an opening address to a distinguish gathering, I heard myself declare spontaneously with a strong conviction that “God helps those who help each other, God loves those who love each other & God even comes down to serve those who serve each other !!”
“Every human life is a journey from I to WE, and from WE to HE ! For a human soul that is in its first stage of evolution, it is true that god helps those who decide to wake up & get ready to help themselves, but for the souls who have qualified themselves to enter the second stage, it is ‘God helps them more’ who help each other, love each other, because, others are not really others, they all are truly our own brothers & sisters!!”
“And finally when a soul is elevated to the highest stage of human evolution, it believes & acts according to the highest truth that says , “God helps those ‘the most’ who are always eager to love all , serve all , accept & respect all, knowing very well that all are in God & God is in all & the only way to live happily & joyfully is to live for all, learn & earn for all, because all are in one, one is in all; and the ultimate & absolute ‘TRUTH’ is that All are One & One is All; That’s all!!”
When the awareness of ONENESS of creation dawns upon us, a sense of joy and happiness and fulfillment comes spontaneously from within & it automatically inspires us towards the path of selfless service & fearless sacrifice. Even a desire to hurt does not & cannot arise in such ‘happy heart & joyful mind.’ This alone can integrate the society truly & effectively with undercurrent of bond of mutual love & respect. Then alone the human mind shall realize & experience unity in diversity.
Dear brothers and sisters of our most beloved mother Bharat,
The country needs you and therefore it deserves you.
Can we not decide to ‘live selflessly and fearlessly’ for our country ?!!
