Dear Readers,

Anxiety simply means that you are concerned about the the out come of the something that is not goineg to be determined by your desires. It is going to be determined by what you do. The more uuprepared you are for what you are doing right now, the more anxius your will be. Isn't it so?

Let us say, you do not know how to ride a motorcycle – you just sit on it and drive it. Now every moment is full of anxiety. But if you know how to balance the morotcycle, it is dream. So the motorcycle is not the anxiety; your inability to handle it is causing anxiety.

So do not try the handle anxity. Anxiety is not a reality; it is the consequence of a certain incapability. If we want to do something, we must work toward competence, not towards result. Just beacuse you desire to become successful, success will not come to you. It willl come to you because your are equipped.

The two fundamental ingredients for any kind of successful activity on the planet is to be able to use your physical body and your mind to their fullest potential. If this has to happen,your must be a pleasant person. This means that your are not the “issue” in your life. If you are not the issue, your can deal with the outside issues with absolute freedom.

If you yuorself are the issue, everything is a problem.

This is one reason why after so mahy thousands of years of experience of living on this planet, humanity is still on big mess, because individual people are big issue by themselves.

If they solve one problem, they create a hundred problems attached to it. Don't you see this happening everywher-- in the international situation, in the local situation, within the family and within yourself? So when your touch a issue, it will become a bigger issue.

So the first and foremost thing is, settle all issues within your self first. The most important thing is that your at least pass through life in a pleasant way. This is somthing everybody deserves.

This is a story, a real love story, of an ordinary boy with extraordinary aspirations, born and brought up in spoiling environment of plenty. At the age of 18, he started reading one chapter of Bhagwad Geeta regularly, as mark of his respect & homage to the departed soul of his noble grandfather.

A young student enjoying his life, in an engineering college hostel in Mumbai, having little awareness of ‘suffering’ of the toiling masses, was gifted with a book of Swami Vivekananda by a friend, on his 20^th birthday. He accepted Swami Vivekananda as his guide, guru and philosopher. He intended to read this book beyond the courtesy of glancing over its main introductory page, and a ‘hair-raising quotation’ set fire to his feeling of empathy & kindness hidden in his compassionate heart & courageous mind. A current flowed from his inner-self, raising the hair on his body!

·        To bring about ‘Governance of the good, by the good, for the good of all’ in our country we must first of all  develop a very ‘strong and honest sense of belonging and selfless love towards our nation and learn to acknowledge & accept with respect the irrevocable & absolute rights of ownership & directorship of GOD over His entire creation. And accept our assigned role-play as decided & directed by Him for all of us with utmost humility & absolute sense of responsibility. With our minds illumined by enlightened intelligence & awakened with awareness, we must invoke His constant & conscious presence & protection in & around us with living faith in His unfailing divine justice & rule of law with under current of love & respect for all.

·    We must show accountability & transparency towards His people whom we have been destined to serve, not to rule, in His name, as guided & prompted by Him. This is true art of loving. This is true art of living.

·  Alone you can do nothing, with power of love you can do anything and everything. There are thousands and thousands of ‘CAN’ person in Bharat because every person is potentially as divine as God.

·        Just learn the art of "tapping" your own divinity, divinity of others.

·    One flower cannot make a Garland, but one ‘God-thread’ with ‘God-strength’ can hold all ‘God-flowers’ in a Garland, and make our ‘Mother-land’ a ‘God-land’ ! Let all variety of flowers with variety of colors and fragrance join together with common thread of mutual love & respect to make our ‘Motherland’ a beautiful Garland, a Gold-land of plenty & prosperity; a truly ‘Joyful & Blissful’ GOD-LAND! AMEN….!!“GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP EACH OTHER!”

· The ‘collective human consciousness’ supported by ‘universal prayer’ emanating from ‘selfless hearts & fearless minds’ can ‘compel’ ‘supreme cosmic consciousness’ to ‘change’ even ‘human destiny’ from inevitable ‘doom, disaster & destruction’ to ‘peace, progress & prosperity’ for all of us & even for our coming generations !!

·     You may make thousands of political parties, and a million social & education institutions; they will be of no use; unless there is that sympathy, that love, that mind, that heart which thinks for all, beats for all ! We have to build such hearts, cultivate such minds, upon which the society & the nation can safely be build upon!

·     A truly noble and wise person of enlightened intelligence does not undertake any action for his/her personal gain, but, proactively participates in every act with constant integrated awareness of ONE residing and operating through all, only in common and collective interest and gain for all, in attitude of selfless service with fearless love and joy as an offering to the Creator and to the Mother Creation. He/She may OR may not have any degrees or certificates or qualifications to attach to their resume; but they do have basic human values of ‘head, heart & hands’ i.e. ‘humility, honesty & hard work’            in their conduct & composition & these are remarkably visible in their personality and character.

·    In short , they are, at least,  sincere & serious ‘practitioners’ of basic human values in their day to day conduct & behavior both in their private, as well as , public life.

·     They are, what we call  Enlightened & Awakened, REAL-CAN persons !    They are  Reliable, Eligible, Admirable, Lovable, Capable, Able & Noble !!

·       They do their best to help others realize their best. They always give their best to others in every situation and the nature and/or God  always provides them with the best. You do your best, God will do the rest and the best for you. Only such persons deserve to be called true Best  Of  Bharat  For  The  Rest  Of  Bharat!

To solve any problem, any situation, you only need ‘to be’ more; i.e. ‘to be radiating and manifesting’ more & more of your own ‘divine nature’ of ‘love & truth’ in your every thought, word, action and reaction as well !

Therefore it is not enough, not even necessary to ‘know more’ , but all that you need is ‘to be’ more! A Buddha, a Christ, may not know more than you       but, He is always more than you.                                  

Therefore ‘only those’ who “are more” can govern and guide, not the ones who only know more, or even have more ! Love is the only power, the only way. There is no other way, no way!!

What is achieved by ‘Cosmic-Mind’ can also be achieved by ‘human mind’! We only need to ‘enlighten & elevate & connect’ our ‘human mind’ to ‘Cosmic-Mind’!! And change our ‘Dog Mind’ attitude to ‘ God Mind’ attitude.

The ‘Power Of selfless universal Love’ alone can bring ‘Light of Self Awareness. This alone can instantly transform our ‘Dog Mind’ attitude to ‘God Mind’ attitude !!

A ‘God mind’ is able to function selflessly, fearlessly,  joyfully, peacefully,  progressively as true human being. Only such persons deserve to be called true Best Of Bharat For The Rest Of Bharat. He is, what we call an Enlightened & Awakened, REAL-CAN person ! He is Reliable, Eligible, Admirable, Lovable, Capable, Able & Noble person.

Therefore unless we have a ‘team of ‘REAL-CAN’ workers who are willing to lead us & represent us on the path of non-violence with power of love & light of wisdom, the humanity is bound to sink into turmoil & anarchy. Hence, the people – as voters – as leaders – have to first cultivate & nurture such ‘REAL-CAN’ persons with HEAD of Adi Shankara (wisdom) heart of Buddha (compassion) & hands of Janaka (action in inaction). 

We must pray collectively to GOD Power to enable us find the right kind of persons & provide them with right kind of motivation to take the state institutions in right direction & run them honestly, fairly & firmly. The people, must be ‘awakened’ ‘inspired’ & ‘motivated’ to seek, to honor, to select, to elect only such people who would lead us by example as role-models from front!

Otherwise the very foundation of democracy & our constitution itself shall be shaken & shattered by the folly of the people who blindly follow the divisive & destructive policies of our disgraceful & deceptive politicians and so called leaders who are only ‘dealers’ surrounded & supported by brokers & blackmailers.

The elite & the enlightened intellectual & scholar must rise above their selfish & self-interest and think plan & act in larger national & social interest to bring about sense of belonging to the nation amongst its masses by creating self-awareness & self-esteem in national psyche! And this has to be done urgently, spontaneously, as on SOS mission!!

Our motto of “Satyameva jayate” would become ‘alive’ if only we could have a group of REAL- CAN persons at the highest levels of our governance, invested with supreme authority to give final directions on every national issue. This is what I would call, ‘The Miracle of Collective Cosmic Consciousness’

PURPOSE OF HUMAN LIFE AND ITS ENDEAVOR

1)    Most of us, knowingly or unknowingly, spend most of our life in search of some ‘permanent-unchanging’ state of ‘happiness’ that would remain with us always under all circumstances.

2)     And most of us do Not know the ‘identity’ of such entity or state in our life.

3)    Yet the search goes on and on, motivated and activated by some unknown sense of ‘separation or disconnect’ from the origin of ‘the source of that happiness’.

The wisdom of our sages discovered with their ‘common-sense’ that the only changeless entity upon which all this ever changing play is being projected is ‘the truth’ of our own real self; our own truest self ‘the atma self’,  the blissful and joyful’ self; what is commonly known  as our ‘God self’. They called it ‘sat chit ananda’ i.e. truth awareness bliss. It means, “awareness of truth alone can bring bliss or permanent happiness in our life”.

It means, we are never disconnected from the truth, we cannot be. We only need to become ‘aware’ of our own truth to experience and enjoy permanent bliss even while living in this body mind complex.

1.     Since time immemorial, the purpose of all human endeavor has been persuasion of happiness and joy but the tragedy of all our effort is that more we pursue it, the more it deludes us! So, there has to be some ‘key’, some kind of ‘catch’ into all this which we all have not been able to find, so far!

2.     “The more you give, the more you get”; is an irrevocable law of nature that we so often forget! We can choose to  live, to give and forgive ‘gracefully’  and receive His grace abundantly & gratefully; OR, we can choose to live miserly & ungratefully  and leave this world and its wealth disgracefully &  miserably.

3.     But, the real ‘catch’ is that you can not give what you do not have!! Hence, we first need to ‘be happy’ to make others happy to make our God happy with us.

4.     “It is strange but true that when we give our food to a needy person & go hungry, we actually feel stronger, healthier & happier!”

5.     We all can experience the happiness & the strength of joyful giving, selfless serving & fearless forgiving.

Now all these vocabulary of “Swamy”  ‘Baba’ was becoming too much for me to bear. I just wanted to see the photograph with or without so called vibhuti & run away from the scene once for all!  I was , to say the least, in a terrible state of fear of “The Unknown”!

 

May be the All Merciful Lord realized my dilemma & as if to remove that ‘Fear of unknown’ instantly from my mind, He decided to appear to me in the form of my beloved Krishna whom I used to worship & adore in my mind everyday!

 

Yes the photograph with pinches of vibhuti which Mr. Anandani was trying to show me as that of his Sai Baba  was transformed into divine charming face of my beloved Krishna for a moment and I heard myself shout “This is Krishna, My Krishna”!

 

The fear of the unknown had vanished almost instantly! The feeling of discomfort was completely & effortlessly overcome by the feeling of joy & intimacy! This was My Krishna! Tears of joy rolled down instantly from my eyes . But Mr. Anandini insisted that this was Swamy’s photograph which he materialized for all of them when he got interview last year at Puttaparthy !!

 

Now, what was Sai Baba for Mr. Anandani appeared to me as My Krishna for a moment  & as I closed my eyes I could feel the surge of natural Love for my Krishna in me but the very next moment when I opened my eyes, I saw our Lord Sai-Krishna in his divine majestic form with crown of curly hair !

That was my 1^st encounter

with my own reality!

 

But, brought up as we were in the atmosphere of falsehood, artificial behavior  and sceptism, my mind  wanted to just ‘run-away’ from my own reality like a rat trying to run away from mother earth but nevertheless always running over it even while wanting to escape from it!

 

That is the tragedy &

that is the comedy of our life!

 

                                       Is the time not yet come? Are there works still to do?

Should I wait & weep & wear out my heart in vain longing?

This is my delight, thus to wait & watch;

My heart is glad within

and the air is filling with the perfume of promise,

And I feel in the air a faint smell of Thy sweet presence;

I know not from what distant time

thou art ever coming nearer to meet me,

Thy sun & stars can never keep thee hidden from me;

Have you not heard His Sai-lent steps?

He comes, He comes, He ever comes,

In sorrow after sorrow of His apparent separation,

It is His steps that press upon my heart and

it is the golden touch of his feet that makes my joy to shine.

MY FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH MY SAI KRISHNA

It was July 1974. I was studying in SPCE Bhavan’s campus Andheri, Mumbai in my 2^nd year of civil engineering. I was staying in my hostel room no 116 all alone. I used to visit my parents at Ulhasnagar every weekend.

It was during one of such fun-making visits that I happened to go to house of my friend Dr Deepak Advani to fix programme for night show movie at our family theatre Sapna Talkies adjacent to our bunglow Thakur Nivas.

It so happened that my friend Deepak was taking bath and his father Mr. Gope Advani engaged me in talk purely for time pass. At that time I did not know that this ‘time pass’ will ultimately lead me to the ‘Master of Time’.

 Mr. Advani was a  good old friend of my father and by nature he was a very entertaining &  knowledgable personality. We used to call him ‘AIR– uncle’ i.e. All India Radio, uncle .

I do not know how & why he suddenly thought of telling me something which was totally out of context of my liking & temperament.

 He said “Harish have you heard of Sathya Sai Baba? They say there is vibhuti manifesting out of HIS photograph in the house of one Mr. Sirumal Anandani just across the road. Can you believe it?”

 I said sorry uncle and I do not even want to discuss anything about any Baba at all. I am a science student and I know nothing can be created nothing can be destroyed. That’s it.

I thought my refusal will stop this gentleman to continue on this subject anymore. I did not know that my repudiation will provoke him so much as to literally challenge me and my claim of being a science student.

He said if you profess to be a student of science you must not have any inhibition abuot “witnessing” something which you have not yet heard of before. Of course, you have the all the freedom to make an   independent   assessment & analyze the facts objectively and scientifically and then decide to believe it or not.

 They say, “Seeing is believing” ,  but you are refusing to even ‘see’   &  you  ‘disbelieve’ something that I myself have seen.

When I tell you that I have seen vibhuti appearing  from inside the frame of the photograph of Sathya Sai Baba in the house of a person who is respected & revered by the society as one of the noblest persons, you have audacity to declare that all this is false  without verifying the facts. And, you claim yourself to be a science student !

“As such Deepak is going to take at least 10 – 15 minutes to shave & bathe & Mr. Anandani’s house is just opposite to our house across the road and he is a close friend of your father.

 In fact I want you to help me to assess the situation scientifically & objectively, because I have not seen Sai Baba & at the same time I cannot doubt bona fides of Mr. Anandani.

 Even my mind fails to believe that such miracles could happen all over the world in this age of modern science. So let us first go & see & observe everything &  then discuss the issue with an open mind.”

Now all this was too heavy  for my young & arrogant mind to assimilate. But it was equally impossible for me to refuse the incitement in form of a challeng  to my so called scientific mind with totally un-scientific attitude !!

So we went to the house of  Mr. Anandini to witness the unbelievable & the most incredible !

It was around 6.30pm & Mr. Anandini was sitting in his outside living room. As soon as Mr Advani introduced me as the son of Mann Thakur of Sapna Talkies, he jumped from his seat with joy & welcomed me with paternal affection.

 Mr. Advani as expected, forgot the purpose of his visit & started his famous ‘AIR’ session but I promptly intervened & said uncle we have just come to witness the miracle of vibhuti in your house & then we need to go back for some urgent work.

He said, All right! I will just  wash my hands & take you to my adjacent pooja room.

But I had no patience to wait even for a moment; so I straight away went to the adjacent Pooja room but as soon as I entered the room Mr Anandini came rushing towards us shouting, “who entered my puja room?”

 I said sorry uncle I just entered it because I wanted to go back soon.

He just smiled and said never mind but let me tell you swamy has already accepted you as his own & He Himself has guided you to come here because there was a sign of bell ringing which I could hear when you entered the pooja room. Come,  now I will show you the vibhuti ‘miracle’ !

     For all the care I take

I lose sight of my True – Being – sat – chit – ananda,

I try to avoid the presence of this little ‘ego’

but I escape him not,

He is my little ‘self’, my Lord,

he knows no shame,

but I am ashamed to come to Thy door in his company.
